Welcome to the Second Edition of our online Victorious Voice Newsletter!
As the sun sets earlier each night preparing for the onset of Fall, we too are planning for the next season. Our vision continues to become sharper for how to fulfill our mission in the “new normal.”
Recognizing that our annual Birthday Bash remains a critical source of support for Victorious 4 Teens programs, we are stepping out of the box, on a journey to embrace a Virtual Birthday Bash this year! Birthday Bash 2020: Perfect Vision, will be held online Friday, October 16th — please be sure to SAVE-the-DATE for this very special evening. This, coupled with generous donations from supporters such as you, as well as our Annual Victorious Champion Sponsors, will allow us to continue providing age-appropriate programs and activities for children and teens receiving treatment for cancer and other life-threatening illnesses.
Our annual 5K Race/Walk changes its look this year. On Sunday, December 6th, the 12th annual Victorious 5K Run & 1-Mile Walk now has a fun Winter twist — the “Candy Cane Dash.” Be sure to register early with our Sweet Tooth Special!
The Teen Kit and Alicia’s Art Cart programs continue to grow, even more so during COVID hospitalizations. Our ongoing monthly Frequent Donor program now lets you donate once a month to support our programs. We hope you will consider donating to our “Cup for a Cause” program. For the small price of a cup of coffee, YOU can help support innovative programs that enrich the social and emotional needs of hospitalized children.
Wishing you the remaining weeks of summer filled with joy and health,
Gisele DiNatale

Pillows Galore!
Through the challenges of 2020, ARVF continues to support hospitalized teens nationally with Teen Kits and Alicia's Art Carts. This year, with help from supporters like you, we were able to ship 489 Teen Kits to over 20 hospitals and restock 26 Alicia's Art Carts nationwide. That's a total of over $45,000! A HUGE thank you for your support!

Victorious Champion Sponsor Spotlight
Corporate partnerships are essential to advancing ARVF’s work in supporting hospitalized teens nationally. For over ten years, PJW Restaurant Group has been an ardent Victorious Champion supporting ARVF events and programs. As the business grew from one restaurant to 23 with six different dining concepts throughout New Jersey and Pennsylvania, founder and entrepreneur Bob Platzer also created a culture of philanthropy throughout his organization. When Mr. Platzer was awarded the 2013 Victorious Corporate Champion Award, he stated “PJW Restaurant Group has always had a culture of giving back to the community, because without community, we would not be successful; and helping others in need is just the right thing to do.”
During these challenging times, the restaurant industry has been particularly affected by closures and restrictions. PJW Restaurant Group remains steadfast in its commitment to the health, wellness, and safety of its guests and employees. “At the heart of our purpose is a commitment to the neighborhoods we serve and building community among our guests.”
We thank PJW Restaurant Group for their generosity in treasure, but especially in spirit over the years!
