In 2013, ARVF spearheaded the initiative getting the U.S. Senate to unanimously pass resolution S. Res.#573 designating the third week in January as Teen Cancer Awareness Week (TCAW) to promote awareness of the unique medical and social needs of teens with cancer.
Beginning on Martin Luther King Day of Service, volunteers locally, and throughout the country, show their support by having Bandana Days, Teen Kit Drives, Facebook Fundraiser Campaigns, and other fundraising/awareness type events. You can also show your support by downloading and updating your social media profile picture to our awareness ribbon.
