Elena Piperno, of Cherry Hill, has been appointed to the Business Advisory Board of the Alicia Rose Victorious Foundation (ARVF). Piperno is a 2010 graduate of Providence College in Providence, RI, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Public & Community Service Studies and minor in business studies. During her studies at PC, Piperno spent extensive amounts of time volunteering in schools and facilitating after school programs. She also studied abroad in South Africa and completed a service learning program through the University of Stellenbosch.
Upon graduating, Piperno worked for the Catholic Partnership Schools in Camden, NJ as the Coordinator of After-School and Summer Programs. In this position, Piperno designed and managed extra-curricular and academic programs for middle school youth from the city’s five parochial schools. In 2014, Piperno joined A.C. Moore Arts & Crafts as the Corporate Social Responsibility Manager.
Previous board experiences include terms for Hopeworks N Camden, Resurrection Catholic School and most recently DREAM Philadelphia.
