Teen Cancer Awareness Week

In Washington, D.C. The U.S. Senate unanimously passed a resolution designating the third week in January as “Teen Cancer Awareness Week” to promote awareness of the unique medical and social needs of teens with cancer. Beginning on Martin Luther King Day of Service, volunteers locally, and throughout the country show their support by having Bandana Days, or a Teen Kit Drive.
