September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month
In the United States, 1 in 285 children will be diagnosed with cancer before the age of 20.
Throughout the country, many are showing their support by having Bandana Days, Teen Kit Drives, School assemblies, Dine and Donate Nights, Facebook Fundraiser Campaigns, and many other fundraising/awareness type events. You can also show your support by downloading and updating your social media profile picture to our awareness ribbon.
Join us to give them something to do while they wait for the cure:
The fight for a cure continues for many hospitalized children! Because the cure will take some time to find, the Alicia Rose Victorious Foundation provides Victorious 4 Teens! programs to hospitalized children while they wait for the cure.
The 16th Annual Birthday Bash, Sweet 16, will be held on Friday, October 12th, 2018 in honor of Alicia’s Birthday & Heaven Date.

Following is a Gourmet 3-Course dinner with an Open Bar, Silent Auction, and Entertainment. Attire is Black Tie Optional.

#GivingTuesday is a global day of giving fueled by the power of social media and collaboration.
Celebrated on the Tuesday following Thanksgiving (in the U.S.) and the widely recognized shopping events Black Friday and Cyber Monday, #GivingTuesday kicks off the charitable season, when many focus on their holiday and end-of-year giving.
This November 27th, join the movement and give!
Ways you can be #Victorious4Teens this #GivingTuesday would be to host a Teen Kit Drive, Bandana Day, Dine & Donate Night, create a Facebook Fundraiser Campaign or pledge to give a monetary contribution by clicking the button below.

In 2013, ARVF spearheaded the initiative getting the U.S. Senate to unanimously pass a resolution designating the third week in January as Teen Cancer Awareness Week (TCAW) to promote awareness of the unique medical and social needs of teens with cancer.
Beginning on Martin Luther King Day of Service, volunteers locally, and throughout the country, show their support by having Bandana Days, Teen Kit Drives, School assemblies, Dine and Donate Nights, Facebook Fundraiser Campaigns, and many other fundraising/awareness type events. You can also show your support by downloading and updating your social media profile picture to our awareness ribbon.

Every third week in January is National Teen Cancer Awareness Week! Join our annual Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service and volunteer your time assembling Teen Kits and Bandana Pillows with the Alicia Rose Victorious Foundation in support of Teen Cancer Awareness. These kits and pillows will get shipped nationwide to hospitalized teens battling cancer.
If you are interested in volunteering on MLK Day, so we can plan out the day and anticipate volunteer help, please sign up by RSVPing below. Volunteers must be ages 13 and up. We will also be collecting items for our Teen Kits. If you have collected specific in-need items (athletic socks, 1oz. tic-tacs, and lip balm), please bring them with you to the volunteer sign-in desk area.
