Alicia's Art Cart

Alicia's Art Cart bridges the gap for older teen patients who may not be mobile and/or in isolation. The Child Life Specialist customizes each cart with supplies such as oil pastels, water-color paints, markers, clay, and beading to create artwork, jewelry, and crafts. (This program is only available to existing Alicia's Art Cart placements).

Teen 'Welcome' Kits 

Our unique and highly popular Teen'Welcome' Kit Program provides a welcoming gift for teenagers who are being treated for a critical illness or condition. These kits make patients feel welcomed, bring joy, and alleviate boredom, and a reminder that they are not alone! In addition to a handcrafted, soft and comfy Bandana Pillow, the backpacks are filled specially selected Amazon 'Wish List' items specifically by teens 4 teens! ARVF currently ships over 2000 Teen Kits to hospitalized children across the country!

Teen Lounges Enhancements

Designed as a special place for hospitalized teens, Teen Lounges are located all across the country, welcoming patients to take a break from treatment to meet and support
one another.

The funding for enhancing or renovating an existing Teen Lounge is available through our Restricted Grant Application.

Teen Activities & Events

We also support funding for social activities and/or teen events within the Hospital. Specialty events may include Pizza Parties, Tye-Dye Parties, Movie Nights, Battle of the Bands, Teen Proms, Homecomings, and other creative in-hospital teen social activities.
