The mission of the Alicia Rose "Victorious" Foundation is to improve the quality of life for teens who are hospitalized with serious, life-threatening illnesses. We do this by installing Teen Centers in pediatric hospitals across the country and distributing Teen Kits and Bandana Pillows to newly-admitted teen patients.

Cancer for a teenager is perhaps more devastating than at any other time in life, and yet there is very little support for teens at most cancer treatment centers. That is why the Alicia Rose "Victorious" Foundation was created. Founded in October, 2002 after the passing of a spirited 17 year old, the foundation has partnered with approximately 40 hospitals throughout the United States . We have installed 31 Teen Centers and provided thousands of Teen Kits.

Alicia Rose "Victorious" Foundation Teen Centers are fully loaded with a large plasma TV, DVD player with over 100 movies, CD players, computers with Internet access, video arcade games, "fun" furniture, and a "Teen Library".

The Alicia Rose "Victorious" Foundation also provides "Teen Kits" and "Amazin' Bandana Pillows" for all newly diagnosed teenagers in hospitals. These "comfort" items are assembled to meet the unique needs that teenagers face during their in-patient stay at a hospital.

Alicia Rose "Victorious" Foundation "Fun"-Raising activities include:

• Local schools, communities, and company host "GOIN' BANDANA'S" or "GET BANDED" Wrist Band Days.
• Signature Event: The Annual "Birthday Bash" held in October commemorating Alicia's birthday, and the spirit of her life. Over 500 in attendance.

The goal of the Alicia Rose "Victorious" Foundation is simple: to install a Teen Center in every pediatric hospital and to deliver a Teen Kit to every seriously-ill teenager. We know the impact of our services on these teenagers is profound and we strive to reach every teen who needs us.
