A Ways To Go

I have finally reached the one year mark if remission. I cannot believe it has been a year since I was given my stem cell treatment that would help ensure my cancer would never come back. It's been a long year since then but an amazing one. I am so lucky for the family and friends I have. I can't wait to see what the next year of remission brings me.

I still have a ways to go before I am out if the woods and no longer suffer from the medical issues caused by the medicine and cancer itself, but I'm getting there. My hip replacement went well and I'm home healing. I'm getting better every day.

Yesterday my amazing cousin came over and dyed my hair and I LOVE the new colors I have. Besides that, I have not been able to do that much. My physical therapist has said I am doing great and should be back to normal in no time. She finally gave me the okay to attempt to ride in a car to get out of the house but warned me the bumps may be way too much. I am not too worried since in a month I will be getting my right hip done. November 15th is the date for my next surgery. Hopefully, after that, it will be the last surgery or hospital stay I have for quite awhile.

Thank you all for continued prayers and well wishes.  ❤️  It means so much to me.
